If it does not turn on, you must update to the most recent system

Huawei has made changes in the manufacturing of P30 screens.

Now, only phones with the Emui 11.0.0.x update will be able to work with these screens. If you encounter a problem with a new Huawei P30 screen, check that the phone's system version is at least higher than 11.0.0. If this is not the case, you will need to perform the update before replacing the screen.

We recommend using a working screen, or a Huawei P30 (in-cell) screen to perform the update, then installing this screen.

⚠️ Lithium-ion battery — for qualified professionals only
  • Before fitting: never install a battery that is swollen, punctured, deformed or without legible labelling.
  • Diagnose the device first: no new battery on a short-circuited, corroded or unrepaired board.
  • Exact reference only — a neighbouring model, even if it fits, is improper use.
  • After fitting: full supervised charge cycle and temperature check.
  • Swollen battery: do not ship it (ADR class 9 dangerous goods) — open an RMA with photographs.
  • Consumable: capacity loss through use and ageing is not a defect.
